Clearing the On-Court Cobwebs

Fellow tennis fanatics! Self-isolation is hard on us eager players and weekend warriors - I am certain you are missing tennis (and the club) as much as I am

While we'll eventually return to our daily tennis routine, we have to maintain our physical and mental stamina so we can hit the courts running when we are given the green light. Never fear, that's why I'm here!

To start, it's important to understand that tennis has four pillars of support:

  1. Physical
  2. Mental
  3. Tactical
  4. Technical.

Much like the legs of a chair, if one of these falls short, we wont balance. This can lead to injury, lack of ball control and difficulty making decisions for doubles and singles. Therefore, over the next weeks we will address and highlight these 4 fundamentals with fun, interesting and slightly challenging workouts and videos

We will begin with five physical home workouts, compliments of our friends at Tennis Fitness. Do your best to at least try one each day. Minimal space and equipment is needed; you can do them in your home or yard.

Day 1 | Home Workout Routine
Day 2 | Home Workout Routine
Day 3 | Home Workout Routine
Day 4 | Home Workout Routine
Day 5 | Home Workout Routine

We want to give everyone some options to keep training. If you have any questions, please email us!
