Mixing it Up with a Cosmopolitan

A staple of any trendy bar, a 'Cosmo' is a classic chic cocktail that's super-easy to make at home.

Ingredients:
1.5 Ounces Pineapple Vodka
0.5 Ounces Triple Sec
0.25 Ounces Lime Juice
0.5 Ounces (or a full once) of cranberry juice

The trick to to making a cocktail in a martini glass is to chill the glass first with ice and water. Simply combine the ingredients and enjoy. Be sure to garnish with some fresh citrus. I used pineapple vodka to add that extra sweetness, but you can use regular vodka, or even experiment with other flavors.

One of the clubs feature taps is from Stonehooker Brewing company. A local brewery, with lots on offer, you won't regret grabbing some from the LCBO or ORC's Grocery Pickup program

“Stonehooker Brewing Company is a great local brewery with some fun suds on tap. The Broad Reach New England IPA is an easy recommend, but my personal favorite is the Spicy Raspberry 2.0 saison. Worth a try for sure!”  -Bill Stepec

Perfect for a hot day, Martina recommends Basil Lemonade, a non-alcoholic offering.

"In a shaker with ice, squeeze three lemons and add about an ounce of that simple syrup add a few sprigs
of basil. Shake and pour into any glass over ice. If you want to add some extra flavor, add fresh or frozen blueberries to the lemonade. Finding the drink too sour? Add more syrup! Feel free to make things a bit spicy by adding a shot of vodka." -Martina Herling
